The exhibit hall is where much
of the hustle and bustle exists during each Sprayfoam show, and
that’s mainly due to how well attended it is every year, with both
big names and up-and-comers looking to make an impact in this
fast-growing market. The exhibit hall gives attendees the opportunity to connect with every exhibitor and get an up-close look at
the latest spray foam systems, spray equipment, coatings, and other
The expectation for Sprayfoam 2016 is
a broken attendance record, so it might be prudent to book your accommodations early, especially considering how quickly the main
hotel sold out in Albuquerque for the last show. That said, with
more people comes a better chance to reconnect with old colleagues
and meet new ones. Attendees generally say building relationships
is the highlight of every show, so what better chance to maximize
that experience than in Orlando?
Engaging speakers and enlightening talks are
always a huge highlight at the Sprayfoam Convention & Expo. Last show’s
keynote speaker, Ty Pennington, was a major hit with attendees, and SPFA
seeks to recreate the same fervor with 2016’s keynote, Richard Rawlings of
Discovery’s Fast N’ Loud fame. Rawlings is guaranteed to bring a ton of energy to the convention’s first General Session.
Informational Breakout Sessions will take place on the last two days of the
convention. As always, they’ll feature industry experts discussing a wide variety of essential and pressing SPF-relevant topics. Noteworthy sessions this
year include: Working With Homebuilder Associations to Grow Business;
Recoat and renewal of SPF Roofing Systems; Federal Agencies Update –
EPA and OSHA; SPF & Photovoltaic Panels; and more.
SPFA PCP Certification is an absolute necessity
for every spray foam professional dedicated to industry stewardship. With
that in mind, Sprayfoam 2016’s schedule is built to facilitate the certification
process, with PCP Exam Prep Courses, Written Exams, and Field Exams
being conducted at the convention. Prep courses and field exams will be held
on February 8-9, while written exams will be held throughout the show. With
the right resources and environment in which to get yourself certified, there’s
really no reason not to go that extra mile if you haven’t already.
